About the Role

Amazon EU SARL (Germany Branch) - D70 is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our Multi-Channel Fulfilment team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and managing a sales team that develops and manages a sales pipeline comprised of high-value accounts and progresses them through negotiations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and Manage Sales Team: Lead and develop a high-performing sales team that consistently exceeds sales targets.
  • Create Sales Motions and Mechanisms: Design and implement sales strategies and processes that integrate with global Multi-Channel Fulfilment mechanisms.
  • Identify and Close Opportunities: Develop and execute plans to identify, pitch, and close high-value opportunities, and progress qualified leads through the sales funnel.
  • Surface Customer Voice: Gather and present customer feedback to partner teams to inform product development and sales strategies.
  • Integrate Customer Onboarding: Develop and implement processes to integrate customer onboarding with Multi-Channel Fulfilment processes.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of enterprise sales experience, with a proven track record of consistently exceeding sales objectives.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills, both externally and internally.
  • Business Fluency: Business fluency in German.
  • Technical Skills: Intermediate to advanced experience using Excel and MS Office applications.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for data-driven decision making.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Retail E-commerce Experience: Experience selling nascent products/services into new markets, preferably in the retail e-commerce or supply chain industry.
  • CRM Experience: Experience using a CRM such as Salesforce.
