Proposal Manager for Drive Solutions

Your responsibilities.
- You will oversee the design and conceptualization of drive solutions tailored for large-scale applications in sectors such as oil & gas, petrochemicals, metals, mining, energy, and more.
- This role encompasses the comprehensive preparation of proposals, including specifications, calculations, and necessary documentation.
- You will ensure an effective distribution of delivery scope and services among all stakeholders involved.
- Your duties will also include independently soliciting, clarifying, and assessing offers from sub-suppliers related to transformers, MV switchgear, and other drive-related components.
- You will engage in technical and pricing negotiations with clients and partners, collaborating closely with procurement teams.
- Additionally, you will assist the sales team in discussions regarding client specifications and proposal requirements.
- Your role will involve the independent development and implementation of proposal standards, including product descriptions and contract conditions.
- Collaboration with other Quotation Centers and product managers will be essential for success.
- A degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline, ideally with a focus on power electronics or electrical machinery.
- Extensive experience in project management, engineering, or commissioning within the drive solutions sector.
- In-depth technical knowledge of production processes across various industrial sectors.
- Strong understanding of drive technology, including motors, converters, and associated systems.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies relevant to proposal and execution processes.
- Demonstrated analytical skills, organizational talent, and the ability to work effectively in teams.
- Willingness to travel internationally and fluency in both German and English are essential.
