What will your role entail?
As a Lead Proposal Manager (f/m/d), you will take charge of crafting intricate proposals for international A, B, and C projects related to our regional trains and urban transit systems. Your primary responsibility will be to independently develop complex proposals for new initiatives aimed at our national and international clientele, overseeing all technical facets of the proposal process. You will guarantee the prompt creation of competitive and high-caliber offers through close collaboration with various departments (Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, etc.) and international regional offices. You will engage in customer negotiations throughout different phases of contract initiation. In partnership with the Commercial Proposal Manager, you will evaluate tender documents, formulate bid strategies autonomously, and prepare comprehensive documentation along with competitive cost and pricing analyses, considering the target price. You will also ensure adherence to the proposal processes and present your proposals to management as part of the approval process.What qualifications do you possess?
You hold a master's degree in engineering or business administration. You bring extensive professional experience in sales, project management, or proposal management within the rail sector, plant construction, or related fields. You have a solid background in preparing quotations. You are adept at communicating with international, cross-functional teams and engaging with both internal and external stakeholders. You are fluent in English and German and are open to travel (approximately 15%).What benefits do we offer?
