Senior Manager of Technology Innovations

We are seeking a Senior Technology Manager (m/f/d) to join our Corporate Technology Office at Giesecke+Devrient.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct proactive technology scouting to identify and assess emerging technologies, particularly in decentralized applications and digital assets.
  • Collaborate with the corporate strategy department to coordinate key focus areas related to your technological responsibilities.
  • Facilitate the implementation and integration of new technologies to enhance both product offerings and internal processes.
  • Develop innovative business models leveraging identified technologies and trends, validating them with customers at an early stage.
  • Oversee technology marketing initiatives within the G+D Group and externally, in partnership with the Corporate Brand & Communication department.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and decision-making documents for management and other organizational functions.
  • Establish and manage cross-group centers of expertise to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Master's degree in computer science, natural sciences, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a comparable position.
  • Extensive knowledge of cybersecurity, cloud computing, and IoT, along with their practical applications.
  • Analytical and solution-focused mindset, capable of interpreting and conveying complex information effectively.
  • Experience in technology scouting and preferably startup experience in a digital environment.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills tailored to diverse audiences in both German and English.
