We are seeking a Senior Technology Manager (m/f/d) to join our Corporate Technology Office at Giesecke+Devrient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in proactive technology scouting, identifying and assessing emerging technologies relevant to decentralized applications and digital assets.
- Collaborate with the corporate strategy department to coordinate focus areas and manage the technologies under your purview.
- Facilitate the implementation and integration of innovative technologies, enhancing both our product offerings and internal processes.
- Create and validate innovative business models utilizing identified technologies and trends through early-stage customer engagement.
- Oversee technology marketing initiatives within the G+D Group and in partnership with the Corporate Brand & Communication department.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and decision-making documents for management and other organizational functions.
- Establish and lead cross-group competence centers to foster expertise and collaboration.
Candidate Profile:
- A Master's degree in computer science, natural sciences, engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a comparable position.
- Extensive knowledge of cybersecurity, cloud computing, and IoT, along with their practical applications.
- An analytical and solution-focused mindset, capable of interpreting and conveying complex information effectively.
- Experience in technology scouting and ideally, familiarity with startups in a digital environment.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills tailored to diverse audiences in both German and English.
