**Job Title:** Senior Application Engineer

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Engineer to join our MCU tools and Ecosystem team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the development and production of new evaluation and solution boards for the automotive MCU series.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Act as a global team member to create new Renesas automotive solutions.
  • Collaborate internally with Application Engineers and Product Marketers and externally with customers and partners to develop system demonstrators combining software and hardware including documentation.
  • Provide applications' training to FAE, Sales, Distributors, and customers.
  • Present Renesas' technologies, products, and applications in technical seminars.
  • Development- and Production-management of solution.

**Requirements:**

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field of study.
  • Minimum 3 years of related work experience.
  • Good knowledge of embedded microcontrollers, development tools and ecosystems.
  • Basic understanding of schematics, layouts, and digital components.
  • Motivated to initiate and drive projects to completion with an open mind for working in an international environment.
  • Good sense of understanding technical requirements and customer expectations.
  • Basic knowledge of development and manufacturing costs for commercial evaluation of the best system solution to propose to customers.
  • Project management skills to set direction for the development of projects and ability to negotiate optimal solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and English skills.
  • Creativity and team spirit.
