About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Development Manager to join our Life Sciences division in Germany. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving new business development and expanding our presence in the market.

Main Responsibilities
  • Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities: Discover, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities within target industries and customer groups, with a focus on strategic, global, and enterprise-level opportunities.
  • Screen Potential Business Deals: Analyze market strategies, deal requirements, and financials to identify potential business deals and opportunities.
  • Develop Negotiation Strategies: Collaborate with senior decision-makers to develop negotiation strategies that align with customers' needs and goals.
  • Sell Products and Services: Develop relationships with prospects and recommend solutions to close new business deals.
  • Lead Strategic Development and Execution: Lead the strategic development and execution of won and/or assigned new and ramping accounts.
  • Build Market Position: Locate, develop, define, and build business relationships through industry networking, participation in industry events, and other required public engagement.
  • Develop Deep Understanding of Prospects' Business Goals: Develop a deep understanding of prospects' business goals, competition, growth plans, and obstacles.
  • Position Acolad Solutions and Services: Position all Acolad solutions and services with the help of product specialists.
  • Implement Sales and Pipeline Building Market Strategies: Implement sales and pipeline building market strategies to drive growth and expansion.
  • Manage On-Going Pipeline of Revenue and Activity: Manage an on-going pipeline of revenue and activity to ensure continued growth and expansion.
  • Assist with RFP/Tender/Proposal: Assist with RFP/Tender/Proposal to drive business growth and expansion.
  • Develop Sales Skills and Market/ Business Knowledge: Proactively develop sales skills and market/business knowledge to maximize performance and share best practices with the Business Development team.
  • Achieve Budgets, Targets, and Activity Levels: Achieve budgets, targets, and activity levels as agreed with the General Manager and Head of Sales.
  • Provide Detailed and Accurate Sales Forecasting/Budgeting: Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting/budgeting for personal new business pipeline.
Requirements
  • 5-7 Years of Proven Experience: 5-7 years of proven experience in new logo acquisition, business development, and reaching sales quota.
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in business management, economics, financial, or marketing.
  • Ideal Candidate Will Have: Ideal candidate will have proven experience working in the Clinical, more specifically Linguistic Validation space.
  • Must Have a Keen Interest: Must have a keen interest in driving efficiency and disruption in this space; comfortable incorporating AI and technology into service offerings.
  • Able to Demand Confidence and Trust: Able to demand confidence and trust in a highly visible and growing area of the business.
