Winthrop specializes in delivering complete data centre solutions, offering services from design to construction across a wide range of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical services, as well as commissioning.

We are currently engaged in multiple turnkey data centre projects across various European countries, amounting to over 430 MW of IT load in progress.

We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced BMS Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of the BMS Systems package.
  • Ensure site safety in collaboration with the Project Manager and the Winthrop Engineering & Contracting Safety Advisor, including the setup and management of the safety file.
  • Promote a strong Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental culture within your team.
  • Manage the project schedule in conjunction with the Winthrop Engineering & Contracting Project Manager, consulting Engineer, and Client requirements.
  • Oversee all costs associated with your package, including:
    • Winthrop Engineering & Contracting Team
    • Sub-contractors
    • Material deliveries and goods receipting
    • Plant and Equipment
    • Variations
    • Valuations
  • Manage day-to-day site operations.
  • Ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Supervise sub-contractor activities, tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels.
  • Manage the Winthrop Engineering & Contracting "In Progress" snagging system, ensuring supervisors return weekly punch lists where applicable.
  • Provide direct labour hours and sub-contractor hours to the time administrator for central tracking.
  • Participate in Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning and Coordination Meetings, and Handover Meetings.
  • Issue weekly cost reports, detailing all orders placed, materials expected, and labour levels.
  • Provide internal weekly progress reports, summarizing project progress based on WBS codes and highlighting any concerns.
  • Deliver external weekly progress reports to the project manager, noting areas not available, delays, and percentage complete.
  • Schedule material deliveries in line with the project schedule and track all deliveries.
  • Maintain a weekly project photographic diary.
  • Perform all other duties associated with the role.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Project Management.
  • Proven track record of coordinating and managing large installation projects.
  • Experience in handling Industrial Relations issues.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
  • Experience in design and build projects.
