Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Molecular Biologist to join our team. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for designing and ordering DNA constructs for customer projects, serving as a scientific advisor in customer calls, and communicating with internal and external parties on DNA-related topics.
Key Responsibilities- Scientific Leadership: Provide scientific guidance and expertise to customers and internal stakeholders on DNA-related topics.
- Project Management: Design, plan, and analyze experiments to advance DNA template use in ALiCE, ensuring timely and efficient project delivery.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate the work of laboratory technicians, allocate team members, and hold them accountable for project outcomes.
- Research and Development: Compile data on research conducted and report findings through writing or presentations, translating research into technologies that consumers can use or benefit from.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Drive collaboration with external stakeholders, including collaboration partners, customers, and agencies, to advance project goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive projects, ensuring proper integration and alignment with LenioBio's roadmaps.
- Business Acumen: Support in budget planning, propose solutions and strategies to business challenges, and research and introduce specialized equipment to advance and automate processes at LenioBio.
- Strategic Decision Making: Participate in strategic decision making, applying strategic thinking to drive project success.
- PhD in Molecular Biology or related field.
- At least 3 years of industrial experience.
- Experience with production of difficult-to-express proteins and DNA libraries desired.
- Solution-oriented and decisive person with a strategic mindset.
- Customer-oriented and analytical mindset.
- Proven project management skills.
- Good communication and presentation skills in English (German is a plus).
- Interest in people development (Coaching & Mentoring).
- Full-time, permanent position located in Aachen.
