Brand Marketing Lead

We are seeking a Marketing Manager to enhance our Lotus and Natural Foods division by increasing brand visibility and crafting a comprehensive vision for our products.

In this position, you will be accountable for formulating both annual and long-term strategies for our brands to meet established business goals. You will translate the national strategy into actionable plans that support a consumer-focused approach, ensuring the brand is activated with the appropriate marketing mix to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

  • Contribute to the annual strategic planning for Lotus and Natural Foods brands in the German market to optimize market penetration, brand awareness, revenue, and profitability across all distribution channels in the short and medium term.
  • Define comprehensive brand standards that illustrate how the Lotus brand proposition is presented in the market, including ownership of the brand book and catalogues that serve as a guide for brand design and execution across various channels.
  • Develop, implement, monitor, and adjust the marketing strategy mix for our brands, with a particular emphasis on point-of-sale activation and social media initiatives.
  • Provide content support for Amazon listings related to Lotus and Natural Foods.
  • Ensure top-tier brand activation across the portfolio to elevate our brands in the marketplace.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of our marketing initiatives in collaboration with Category Development.
  • Foster cross-functional alignment with key departments, including Category Development and central functions.
  • Select, coordinate, and oversee external agencies.
  • Manage, control, and oversee budgetary costs and investments in collaboration with central functions and in agreement with management.
  • Lead, inspire, develop, and motivate the local marketing team, which includes two direct reports (Trade Marketing & Brand Management).
  • Strong capabilities to further develop our brand in the German markets and create a clear vision are essential for success in this role, along with proactive and entrepreneurial thinking, a hands-on approach, and a collaborative mindset.

Professional qualifications:

  • Master's degree in economics, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in the implementation and activation of social media campaigns is preferred.
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills to identify and leverage the right opportunities with clear success metrics.
  • Excellent knowledge of retail and household panel data to define and monitor the appropriate KPIs for implemented initiatives.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional projects; additional experience in a matrix organization is preferred.
  • Proficiency in both German and English (spoken and written).
