Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Marketing Manager to oversee the strategic direction and execution of our Lotus and Natural Foods brands in the German market. This role is pivotal in enhancing brand visibility, market penetration, and profitability across various distribution channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the annual strategic planning for the Lotus and Natural Foods brands, focusing on maximizing market share and brand awareness.
  • Establish comprehensive brand standards that clearly define the Lotus brand proposition and maintain the brand book and catalogues as essential resources for brand execution.
  • Develop and implement a robust marketing strategy that emphasizes point-of-sale activation and engaging social media campaigns.
  • Provide content support for our products on e-commerce platforms.
  • Ensure exceptional brand activation across our portfolio to elevate market presence.
  • Define and track key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives in collaboration with Category Development.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with key departments including Category Development and central functions.
  • Select and manage external agencies to support marketing efforts.
  • Oversee budget management, ensuring alignment with central functions and organizational goals.
  • Lead and mentor the local marketing team, consisting of Trade Marketing and Brand Management professionals.
  • Cultivate a strong vision for brand development in the German market, emphasizing proactive and entrepreneurial thinking.

Candidate Profile

Professional Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in economics, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 4-5 years of experience in Brand Management, Consumer Marketing, or Digital Marketing, preferably within international FMCG companies.
  • Proven track record in executing and activating social media campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify growth opportunities and measure success effectively.
  • Excellent understanding of retail and household panel data to establish and monitor relevant KPIs.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects, with a preference for those familiar with matrix organizations.
  • Proficiency in both German and English, spoken and written.
