Brand Marketing Lead

We are seeking a Marketing Manager to enhance our Lotus and Natural Foods division by increasing brand visibility and crafting a comprehensive vision for our products.

In this position, you will be accountable for formulating both annual and long-term strategies for our brands to meet established business goals. You will translate the national strategy into actionable initiatives that prioritize a consumer-focused approach, effectively activating the brand through the appropriate marketing mix to create an exceptional customer experience.

  • Contribute to the annual strategic planning for Lotus and Natural Foods brands within the German market to optimize market penetration, brand awareness, revenue, and profitability across all distribution channels in the short and medium term.
  • Establish comprehensive brand standards that clearly define how the Lotus brand proposition is communicated in the market, including management of the brand book and catalogues that serve as guidelines for brand execution across various channels.
  • Develop, implement, monitor, and adjust the marketing strategy mix for our brands, with a particular emphasis on point-of-sale activation and social media initiatives.
  • Provide content support for Lotus and Natural Foods on e-commerce platforms.
  • Ensure top-tier brand activation across the portfolio to elevate our market presence.
  • Define and track key performance indicators and assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives in collaboration with category development teams.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with key departments, including category development and central functions.
  • Select, coordinate, and oversee external agency partnerships.
  • Manage, control, and oversee budget allocations and investments in conjunction with central functions and in agreement with management.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop the local marketing team, which includes two direct reports in trade marketing and brand management.
  • Strong capabilities to further develop our brand in the German market and create a clear vision are essential for success in this role, along with proactive, entrepreneurial thinking and a collaborative team-oriented approach.

Professional Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in economics, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in executing and activating social media campaigns is preferred.
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills to identify and leverage potential opportunities with clear success metrics.
  • Proficient understanding of retail and household panel data to define and monitor relevant KPIs for implemented initiatives.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional projects; experience in a matrix organization is a plus.
  • Fluent in both German and English (spoken and written).
