About the Role

Visa's Fintech Business Development team is dedicated to forging partnerships and driving projects with innovative financial institutions across the globe. As the leader for Fintech and Non-Traditional Financial Institutions in Central Europe, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Visa's strategic direction within this dynamic market.

Your Impact

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for engaging with the Fintech ecosystem in Central Europe, fostering collaboration between Fintechs and existing Visa clients.
  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with emerging players across various markets, driving market development and innovation within the region.
  • Lead client engagements, including independently managing partnerships across multiple countries, ensuring a seamless and valuable experience for our partners.
  • Conduct in-depth market research, workshops, and client projects focused on Fintech, Embedded Finance, and emerging financial technologies.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams within Visa, including Sales, Products, Commercial & Money Movement Solutions, Visa Consulting & Analytics, Client Services, and Marketing, to leverage the full breadth of Visa's capabilities.
  • Represent Visa at relevant fintech events, panels, and industry gatherings, actively contributing to the growth and development of the Fintech community in Central Europe.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in payments, banking, or the Fintech sector.
  • Deep understanding of the payments landscape and the evolving Fintech ecosystem.
  • Proven track record of strategic thinking, leadership, and successful partnership development.
  • Strong knowledge of the regional market dynamics, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment in Central Europe.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills with the ability to drive results.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Fluency in English is essential; German language proficiency is desirable.
