Postdoctoral Position in Earth System Science

Hereon is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to contribute to the innovative project titled "Prototype Workflows for User Relevant Climate Information and Impact Modelling" (ProImpact).
This role is an exciting opportunity to engage in advanced climate information workflows and is based in a collaborative environment.
Your Responsibilities:
- Developing user-friendly solutions to facilitate access to state-of-the-art climate models and digital representations of the Earth system.
- Investigating input/output technologies for managing data streams.
- Collaborating with project partners and extending your network within the scientific community.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a university degree in meteorology, physics, mathematics, or a related discipline. Proficiency in Python for geoscientific applications within a Linux/Unix/HPC setting is essential. Familiarity with Fortran and experience in processing climate data in high-performance computing environments will be considered advantageous.
