The International Max Planck Research School on Earth System Modelling (IMPRS-ESM) provides a structured, interdisciplinary, and international program for PhD students. The primary aim of our program is to deepen the understanding of Earth system processes and enhance predictive capabilities.

Your responsibilities
As a research associate, you will primarily engage in teaching and conducting research. There will also be opportunities to pursue further academic qualifications, particularly a doctoral dissertation, with dedicated time allocated for your own academic work.
Your profile
A university degree in a relevant field is required.
We are looking for candidates with an excellent academic background, holding (or about to complete) an MSc degree or equivalent in fields such as physics, geophysical sciences, ecology, mathematics, computer science, engineering, economics, political science, or related areas. A passion for Earth System research and a commitment to rigorous scientific work are essential.
