The team focuses on business development with wholesale clients and prospects in Germany and Austria, including banks, family offices, insurance companies, and fund managers. With a total of 33 billion EUR managed for these clients, we are among the largest non-domestic asset managers in the region. You will play a vital role in a growing department dedicated to distribution.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Delivering administrative and sales support to facilitate the sales team's pursuit of new business opportunities.
  • Coordinating meetings and managing schedules.
  • Preparing detailed reports and analyses.
  • Organizing presentations for client meetings.
  • Handling both proactive and reactive client communications.
  • Maintaining client lists for various events and occasions.
  • Creating meeting agendas.
  • Assisting in the organization of business development events in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Providing client service by distributing standard information such as factsheets.
  • Responding to standard client inquiries via email.
  • Collaborating with departments such as Legal and Investment Teams.
  • Performing general administrative tasks, including travel arrangements and expense management.
  • Proofreading documents and presentations.
  • Managing Salesforce requests for RFPs, presentations, and statements.
  • Overseeing budget control and maintenance.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Proficiency in MS Teams or similar video conferencing tools.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • A collaborative team player.
  • Ability to persuade and influence others.
  • Fluency in both English and German.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Results-oriented mindset.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional skills that would enhance your candidacy include:

  • Familiarity with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.
  • Understanding of product and market dynamics.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience in the financial services sector.
  • Understanding of financial markets and fund products.
  • Strong organizational capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills in both German and English.
  • High motivation to provide ongoing support to business development managers.
  • Basic experience in organizing client and prospect events.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.

Language Requirements:

Fluency in German and English is essential.
