Job Overview

As the Territory Manager for North Eastern Germany, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and leading the field sales team in the region. Your main objective will be to develop and implement strategies that meet ambitious sales goals while fostering a culture of success within your team. You will be essential in building a dynamic and high-performing team of Field Sales Executives to accelerate SumUp's expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspire and lead a team of Field Sales Consultants, instilling a strong drive for achievement. Formulate and execute strategic initiatives to enhance business growth, surpass revenue objectives, and capture market share. Discover new market prospects, identify untapped segments, and employ innovative tactics to secure a competitive advantage. Assess field sales performance, conduct regular evaluations, and implement necessary adjustments to ensure ongoing improvement. Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, partners, and merchants.

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience in a leadership capacity, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team that drives business growth and market innovation, ideally within the digital payment sector or a related technology field. Strong strategic insight, skilled at identifying and leveraging new market opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage. Comprehensive understanding of the German market dynamics and proven capability to navigate complex sales environments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels while optimizing team resources effectively. Proficient in technology with a solid understanding of digital solutions and their implications for businesses. A valid driver's license and a willingness to travel are essential.
