We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solutions Architect to join our team at Databricks. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in guiding the technical evaluation phase of our sales process.
About the Role
As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for:
- Providing technical guidance and expertise to our customers and internal stakeholders
- Developing and implementing technical solutions that meet our customers' needs
- Collaborating with our product team to ensure that our solutions align with our customers' requirements
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and revenue streams
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers and partners
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 1+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in data engineering, analytics, and cloud computing
- Hands-on expertise with complex proofs-of-concept and public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Cassandra, and proficiency in writing code in Python, Scala, or Java
- Cloud platform and basic cloud security/networking knowledge
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent experience through work experience
