Senior Construction Manager for Private Real Estate Company

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Construction Manager to join our team at The People Finding Company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction and maintenance of our commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the company's interests on construction sites for approximately 70 commercial properties
  • Plan and implement maintenance and modernization projects to maintain property value
  • Stay up-to-date with current building codes, including fire safety and energy efficiency
  • Oversee the hiring and management of contractors, handymen, and other service providers
  • Monitor and control budgets for assigned properties
  • Plan and implement new construction projects
  • Oversee construction sites on-site, primarily in northern Baden-Württemberg
  • Be the primary point of contact for all trades
  • Procure and select suitable contractors for construction projects
  • Provide regular progress reports
  • As a key member of our team, you will report directly to the Managing Director and be intensively integrated into our company.
Requirements
  • You hold a degree in civil engineering or a related field
  • Alternatively, experienced construction managers, project managers for new builds, or individuals transitioning from property management
  • Several years of experience in construction site management
  • Independent, organized, and meticulous work style
  • Regional travel required
  • Leadership experience is desirable but not a requirement
  • You are a team player willing to support the company's growth
  • Candidates should be from a strong economic region or be willing to relocate
