Materials Management Associate

Position Summary:

The role at FAFNIR GmbH encompasses a variety of essential tasks, including:

  • Acquisition of materials, processing orders, and tracking timelines
  • Executing benchmarking activities and evaluating proposals to enhance strategic sourcing
  • Overseeing supplier order timelines to guarantee compliance with internal delivery commitments
  • Inputting orders into the enterprise IT system
  • Addressing supplier and customer issues in partnership with the quality assurance or sales teams
  • Conducting inventory checks and processing invoices
  • Updating price lists within the ERP platform
  • Performing general administrative duties, including standard correspondence in English
  • Managing archiving responsibilities
  • Maintaining master data records using IT systems
  • Facilitating coordination among procurement, operations, and logistics departments

Required Qualifications:

  • Completed vocational training (preferably as an industrial clerk or office clerk)
  • Prior experience in purchasing or material planning is advantageous
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus
