Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Associate Manager to join our EU & AEA Procurement team at Colgate-Palmolive. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies and risk management programs for raw materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies to ensure optimal procurement of raw materials.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and threats for raw materials.
  • Develop and implement savings projects and tracking files to drive cost reduction and process improvement.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to track and anticipate material process evolution.
  • Coordinate continuous improvement programs with suppliers to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Work with contract attorneys and suppliers to ensure all major materials are covered with a legal contract.
  • Develop and implement segmentation analysis and strategies for all materials.
  • Utilize e-tools to drive savings, simplification, and standardization programs.
  • Coordinate implementation of SMI with appropriate suppliers.
  • Continuously improve oneself through training, information sharing, coaching, and feedback.
  • Interface with suppliers to prevent and solve critical service and quality issues.
  • Accountable for Purchasing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and working with the entire Category Supply Chain.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business field.
  • 2-4+ years of Purchasing or Supply Chain experience for Specialists.
  • 2-5+ years of Purchasing or Supply Chain experience for Managers plus.
  • 2-5 years of management experience.
  • SAP experience is an advantage.
  • English fluency.
  • Experience in international projects.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, commitment, and diligence.
  • Good team player with interpersonal and communication skills.
