**Job Title: Procurement Associate Manager - Raw Materials Sourcing**

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Associate Manager to join our dynamic EU & AEA Procurement team at Colgate-Palmolive. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies and risk management programs, negotiating raw materials purchases, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure quality and service standards are met.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and manage risk for a group of materials, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with various functional groups, including procurement, logistics, and quality assurance, to enforce purchasing policies and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Identify market opportunities and threats for future materials, providing strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Implement savings projects and tracking files, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of procurement performance.
  • Negotiate specific raw material purchases, leveraging market knowledge and supplier relationships to secure optimal pricing and terms.
  • Prepare financial reports and present purchasing strategies to senior management, ensuring alignment with business objectives and goals.
  • Coordinate continuous improvement programs with suppliers, driving process improvements and cost savings.
  • Utilize e-tools and technology to drive savings and standardization programs, ensuring efficient and effective procurement processes.
  • Manage supplier contracts and audits, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Prevent and solve critical service and quality issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Monitor Purchasing KPIs, providing regular reporting and analysis to senior management.

**Qualifications and Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business field, such as supply chain management, business administration, or engineering.
  • 2-4+ years of purchasing or supply chain experience, with a focus on raw materials sourcing and procurement.
  • 2-5+ years of management experience, with a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving business results.
  • SAP experience is beneficial, but not required.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in international projects, with a strong understanding of global markets and supply chains.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
