Job Summary
OHB System AG is seeking a Cost Engineer to manage and support cost engineering activities across various projects, from feasibility studies to implementation proposals, for different domains and customers, including ESA, EC, and DLR.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support cost engineering activities, ensuring delivery of cost analyses in quality and on time.
- Provide costing expertise to project teams, supporting the collection and validation of cost input from internal and external sources.
- Coordinate cost engineering activities, ensuring alignment with customer and company requirements.
- Support cost optimization activities, reflecting technical, programmatic, financial, and geographical constraints.
- Ensure cost analyses are reviewed according to internal policies and aligned with internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to the definition of internal processes and tools associated with cost engineering.
- Contribute to the organization and execution of in-house trainings on cost engineering.
Requirements
- Completed studies in aerospace engineering or equivalent qualification (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics).
- Strong experience in cost engineering.
- Advanced knowledge of the MS suite (VBA coding, high-level skills with MS Word).
- Very good communication skills in oral and written English and German.
- Experience in the space sector.
