Job Title: Cost Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Engineer to join our team at OHB System AG in Oberpfaffenhofen. As a Cost Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and supporting cost engineering activities across various projects, from feasibility studies to implementation proposals.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Manage and support cost engineering activities in different frames, including feasibility studies, implementation proposals, and cost analyses.
  • Provide costing expertise to the project team, supporting the collection and validation of cost input from internal and external sources.
  • Coordinate cost engineering activities to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of cost analyses.
  • Support cost optimization activities, ensuring that technical, programmatic, financial, and geographical constraints are properly reflected.
  • Review cost analyses according to internal policies and align with internal stakeholders, including management, business development, project teams, and departments.
  • Contribute to the definition of internal processes and tools associated with cost engineering.
  • Contribute to the organization and execution of in-house trainings on cost engineering.
Your Qualifications:
  • Completed studies in aerospace engineering or equivalent qualification (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics).
  • Strong experience in cost engineering.
  • Advanced knowledge of the MS suite, including VBA coding and high-level skills with MS Word.
  • Very good communication skills in oral and written English and German.
  • Experience in the space sector.
