Cost Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Engineer to join our team at OHB System AG in Oberpfaffenhofen. As a Cost Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and supporting cost engineering activities across various projects and domains.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and support cost engineering activities in different frames, including feasibility studies, implementation proposals, and cost analyses.
- Provide costing expertise to project teams, supporting the collection and validation of cost input from internal and external sources.
- Coordinate cost engineering activities to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of cost analyses.
- Support cost optimization activities, ensuring that technical, programmatic, financial, and geographical constraints are properly reflected.
- Review cost analyses according to internal policies and align with internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to the definition of internal processes and tools associated with cost engineering.
- Contribute to the organization and execution of in-house trainings on cost engineering.
- Completed studies in aerospace engineering or equivalent qualification (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics).
- Strong experience in cost engineering.
- Advanced knowledge of the MS suite (VBA coding, high-level skills with MS Word).
- Very good communication skills in oral and written English and German.
- Experience in the space sector.
