**About the Role**

HELM AG is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Development Representative to join our Chemicals Europe team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving growth and expanding our customer base within the DACH region.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails, leveraging your knowledge of the chemical industry and local market trends.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet sales goals, working closely with the business development, product management, and supply chain teams to provide exceptional customer solutions.
  • Manage leads through the sales pipeline, setting appointments, following up on opportunities, and tracking progress towards meeting sales targets.
  • Uncover customer needs and develop targeted sales strategies, working collaboratively with the team to drive business growth.
  • Act as a key interface between customers and internal stakeholders, providing expert advice and solutions to meet customer needs.

**Requirements**

  • Proven experience in sales, marketing, and procurement within the chemical industry, with a strong understanding of sales processes and negotiation techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and develop effective solutions.
  • Proficient in English and German, with excellent language skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Experience with common IT applications, including MS Office, Salesforce, and SAP.
