(Senior) Manager in Assurance Services (w/m/d)

In the advisory role for financial services clients, you will take charge of projects related to the provision of assurance services in accordance with ISAE 3000 and similar standards. Additional focal points include auditing and consulting on the design, implementation, and functionality of service-related internal control systems.

Your Responsibilities
If you approach challenges with a solution-oriented mindset, you can contribute in the following areas:

  • Product Development: You will be (co-)responsible for the advancement of our sub-solution in assurance services, developing solutions in interdisciplinary teams for our clients regarding service-related internal control systems and the provision of various assurance services according to professional standards. You will continuously drive the enhancement and optimization of these solutions, utilizing modern tools, testing them in practice, and adapting them to meet client needs while considering current trends and exploring new areas.
  • Sales: You will play a key role in the internal and external positioning of our assurance services, supporting various events, engaging with clients, and nurturing your internal and external network, thereby establishing yourself as an expert in the field.
  • Leadership & Training: You will lead project-based interdisciplinary teams, fostering their personal and professional development on-the-job. Additionally, you will share your experiences and expertise across projects within FS Assurance Services, creating a multiplier effect.
  • Project Management: You will be responsible for the technical and administrative oversight of various consulting projects, ensuring they are executed within the agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Flexible Working: You have the freedom to design your working hours and location, whether in the office, at the client site, or from home, while responsibly balancing your own needs, those of the client, and your team.
Your Profile
  • You possess extensive knowledge in audit and assurance, including relevant industry experience in banking, insurance, and/or asset management and real estate, ideally holding a certification as a public accountant.
  • You have a strong understanding of applicable German and international auditing standards (HGB/IFRS) and knowledge of essential core processes in financial services and asset management, including internal control systems.
  • You bring several years of experience in auditing and/or consulting for financial institutions, demonstrating structured, process-oriented, and goal-driven work, along with experience in managing complex projects, including leadership roles.
  • Additionally, you possess excellent analytical and strategic skills, with the ability to present your findings convincingly.
  • You have experience in preparing annual and consolidated financial statements or auditing service-related internal control systems according to ISAE 3402 or PS 951.
  • A high degree of teamwork, commitment, initiative, and communication skills distinguishes you.
