Collaborate with your team in the Financial Services Audit sector to evaluate annual and consolidated financial statements according to national and international accounting standards, particularly for banks, leasing and factoring companies, investment management firms, and other financial institutions of various sizes and legal forms.
Your Responsibilities
Are you interested in digitalization, data analysis, and emerging technologies? Do you believe that digital transformation is reshaping the financial sector and auditing practices? If so, lead your team in conducting digital audits for our clients and assess their digital business processes:
- As a (Senior) Manager in the realm of digital auditing, you will develop and design innovative digital solutions for auditing and take responsibility for the IT audits of financial institutions, including thematic and team leadership.
- Your role will also encompass auditing digital future topics such as cloud computing, big data, advanced analytics, and artificial intelligence. Additionally, you will create internal methodologies for auditing these subjects for our clients.
- Furthermore, you will review and advise on the application of data analytics in financial statement audits in accordance with national and international auditing standards.
- You will establish and expand a specialized professional network and enhance collaboration between audit teams and IT specialists.
- To become a (Senior) Manager in digital auditing, you should possess a completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, (business) informatics, or a comparable field.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in relevant areas is required.
- Qualifications such as Certified Public Accountant, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), IT Auditor IDW, or similar international certifications are advantageous.
- You should have expertise in IT-related audit topics, particularly in IT auditing.
- Experience in auditing accounting-relevant and banking supervisory IT (ISA standards, MaRisk, BAIT, etc.) as well as initial experience in utilizing data analytics in financial statement audits is essential.
- Fluency in German and strong English language skills are required.
