Responsibilities

As a Student Assistant in the Office of the CTO, your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Assisting with coordination tasks for the CTO Office team
  • Aiding in the formation of project teams and actively participating in projects alongside various business units
  • Managing both internal and external communications
  • Collaborating with internal taskforces to gather updates on key initiatives and provide constructive feedback
  • Supporting the alignment of strategic topics within the CTO Office and across other business units
  • Coordinating internal requests and facilitating expert involvement efficiently
  • Providing additional ad-hoc support as required by the team

Qualifications

Candidates should be currently enrolled in a university or a university of applied sciences, preferably in fields such as:

  • Business Administration, IT Management, Operations, Management, or related disciplines
  • Proficiency in MS Office Tools is essential
  • A background in IT is advantageous
  • Familiarity with SAP Business Technology Platform, SAP Analytics Cloud Reporting, Concur, etc., is preferred
  • Capability to thrive in an agile and fast-paced environment
  • Strong planning, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • A hands-on approach with the ability to simplify complex issues from conception to execution

About the Team

The Board Area Technology & Innovation (T&I) is at the forefront of developing SAP's platform. The flagship of T&I is the SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP), which serves as the backbone of the intelligent, sustainable enterprise. SAP BTP integrates capabilities across application development, automation, integration, data analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI) into a cohesive and interoperable platform.

The Office of the CTO plays a crucial role in supporting the CTO's responsibilities by ensuring effective time management, information flow, and decision-making within T&I and in collaboration with other board areas. The team is responsible for facilitating the CTO's daily operations, governance, and relationship-building activities with key stakeholders. Additionally, the CTO Office manages organizational tasks related to the CTO's functions.
