Position Overview:
The IT Service & Vendor Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining efficient IT operations and fostering effective communication with clients. This position involves prioritizing tasks, managing escalations, and generating monthly performance reports. The individual will oversee IT service providers, track software assets, and handle license management.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure Operational Efficiency:
- Oversee the availability of IT services and guarantee seamless operations.
- Coordinate responses to major incidents and implement security updates.
- Facilitate the Change Advisory Board to ensure uninterrupted IT maintenance.
Enhance Service Processes:
- Refine and manage processes related to incident management, change management, and problem management.
- Integrate new services into the IT operational framework.
- Compile regular reports for service users and lead service review discussions.
Manage Service Providers:
- Address claims, issues, disputes, and escalations concerning all contractual matters.
- Evaluate service provider performance and manage contracts effectively.
- Negotiate IT-related contracts to ensure alignment with stakeholder needs.
License and Contract Oversight:
- Track software license utilization and assess its effectiveness.
- Develop reports and suggestions for optimizing licenses and contracts.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure adherence to contract terms.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in IT service management.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in IT service management, including incident, change, and problem management.
- Familiarity with agile project and service management methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage both internal IT functions and external service providers efficiently.
- Strong analytical capabilities with a focus on data and metrics.
- Excellent proficiency in English for international communication.
- Experience in managing stakeholders and processes effectively.
- Strategic mindset with experience in IT supplier and license management.
- Exceptional negotiation skills with external service providers.
- Demonstrated flexibility, commitment, communication skills, and diplomatic acumen.
