As a Project Quality Engineer, you will be part of our Division Hydro and support our team in Heidenheim.

Your Task

  • Review customers' specifications and compare them to our VH standards to identify main relationships and differences.
  • Develop and review project-specific Quality Plans and documentation.
  • Support the development of project-specific sourcing and manufacturing strategies.
  • Facilitate and review project-specific Design & Process FMEAs and verification reports.
  • Ensure quality is incorporated in processes through process audits and verifications.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities within our company.

Your Profile

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Material, as applicable) or equivalent.
  • Relevant work experience in Quality Management & Quality Engineering.
  • Knowledge in business processes and non-quality functions like Manufacturing, Logistics, Engineering, Purchasing.
  • 1st (Internal) and 2nd (Supplier) party auditor qualification acc. ISO.
  • English fluent, written and spoken (additional languages are an advantage).
  • Strong analytical expertise and result-oriented working principle.
  • Experienced and willing to work in cross-functional teams.
