Your Key Responsibilities

  • Review customers' specifications, further legal and statutory requirements (Q-related) and compare to VH standards to identify main relationships and differences, ensuring proper requirements' management and compliance.
  • Develop and review project-specific Quality Plans and documentation, such as Inspection & Test Plans, QS, and MGS.
  • Support the development of project-specific sourcing and manufacturing strategies and schedules, ensuring that all relevant quality activities and requirements are considered and consistent with the strategies.
  • Support, facilitate, review, and release project-specific Design & Process FMEAs, verification and validation reports, ensuring proper method application, risk analysis & classification, actions definition, and their implementation.
  • Ensure through process audits and verifications within VH and based on project-specific data analysis that quality is being incorporated in processes.
  • Drive, support, and facilitate continuous improvement activities within VH based on project-specific data analysis.

Your Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Material, as applicable) or equivalent.
  • Relevant work experience in Quality Management & Quality Engineering. Experience with Hydro MEGA / Complex Projects is an advantage.
  • Relevant professional experience and knowledge in business processes as well as in non-quality functions like Manufacturing, Logistics, Engineering, Purchasing.
  • 1st (Internal) and 2nd (Supplier) party auditor qualification acc. ISO Certification as Lead Auditor is an advantage.
  • Qualification in electrical, dimensional, NDT testing, Good Lean Management is an advantage.
  • English fluent, written and spoken (additional languages are an advantage).
  • Strong analytical expertise as well as result-oriented, solution-driven (pragmatic) and customer-oriented working principle.
  • Experienced and willingness to work and cooperate in cross-functional teams.

About the Role

The Voith Group is looking for a skilled Project Quality Assurance Specialist to support its Division Hydro. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Quality Management and Quality Engineering, with experience in Hydro MEGA / Complex Projects being an advantage.
