About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Manager to join our team at Safran Electronics & Defense. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue in the German market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve set goals in the German market
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners
- Identify new business opportunities and develop plans to penetrate existing and new markets
- Work closely with program managers to develop project and program sales
- Optimize sales channels and leverage strategic partners
- Stay up-to-date with technology trends and market dynamics
- Deliver results by effectively managing key partnerships and assigned resources
- Ensure timely and accurate response to customer inquiries and sales opportunities
Requirements
- Proven track record of exceeding defense electronics sales in Germany
- Technical sales acumen or relevant technical degree
- Experience with aerospace and defense electronics products and systems
- Interpersonal skills to develop relationships with customers and partners
- Team player with excellent communication and presentation skills
- Self-starter, confident, committed, and enthusiastic
- Ability to take initiative, multi-task, and prioritize
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to proficiently use MS Office and CRM tools
What We Offer
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience with relevant electronic products in aerospace and defense environments
- Relevant experience with position, navigation, timing, and/or simulation products, or alternatively in the C4ISR, EW, or sensor domain
- Experience managing a field sales channel, both direct and reps or distributors
- Strong technical sales skills, working knowledge of aerospace and defense market
Location
The position is based in Germany, ideally in Munich, Cologne, or Hamburg, and requires security clearance ability.
