Role Overview
This position presents a remarkable chance to engage in stimulating projects, honing essential skills, and gaining valuable experience within the design sector. - Assist the Web Design System team in all facets of developing and advancing the SAP Web Design System.
- Work closely with application design teams and stakeholders to comprehend their needs and specifications.
- Develop design specifications for components based on detailed requirements.
- Present design concepts, gather feedback, and make necessary adjustments.
- Participate in usability testing preparations (e.g., creating prototypes).
- Provide instructional articles detailing the application of various components and patterns.
- Ensure that designs adhere to product standards (e.g., Accessibility Standards).
- Collaborate effectively with our Web Design System team both in-person and remotely.

Qualifications
- Availability to contribute 10-20 hours per week to our team both in-person and remotely.
- Access to a reliable and stable internet connection for remote work.
- Language proficiency: Fluent in English and German.
- Understanding and experience in applying the complete design process.
- Proficient in Figma.
- Experience in designing components and patterns.
- Knowledge of design system principles and the ability to create and implement a scalable, reusable design system.
- Capable of designing user-centric elements that enhance intuitive experiences.
- Detail-oriented and organized in your work approach.
- Basic understanding of coding (e.g., CSS, HTML, and JavaScript is advantageous).
Meet Your Team
The SAP Design System Team is committed to advancing the SAP design system, design language, and best practices to enhance overall design quality and development efficiency. We establish the foundational elements that distinguish SAP Products. We create the Design Systems that bring our design language to life and develop standards and guidelines to ensure consistency.
Your application documents should include a cover letter, a resume in table format, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript, copies of any academic degrees obtained, and references from previous employers (including internships) if available. Please also outline your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs/programming languages.
