Responsibilities

- Assist the Web Design System team in all facets of establishing and advancing the SAP Web Design System.
- Work closely with application design teams and stakeholders to comprehend their needs and expectations.
- Develop design specifications for components based on specific criteria.
- Present design concepts, collect feedback, and implement revisions as necessary.
- Participate in usability testing preparations (e.g., creating prototypes).
- Provide guideline articles detailing the application of various components and patterns.
- Ensure designs adhere to product standards (e.g., Accessibility Standards).
- Collaborate effectively with our Web Design System team both in-person and remotely.

Qualifications
- Availability to contribute 10-20 hours per week to our team both in-person and remotely.
- Access to reliable and stable internet for remote work.
- Language proficiency: Fluent in English and German.
- Understanding and experience in applying the complete design process.
- Proficient in Figma.
- Experience in designing components and patterns.
- Strong grasp of design system principles, with knowledge of creating and implementing a scalable and reusable design system.
- Ability to design user-centric elements that foster an intuitive experience.
- Detail-oriented and methodical in your work approach.
- Basic knowledge of coding (e.g., CSS, HTML, and JavaScript is advantageous).
About Your Team
The SAP Design System Team is dedicated to evolving the SAP design system, design language, and best practices to enhance overall design quality and development efficiency. We establish the core elements that distinguish SAP Products. We develop the Design Systems that bring our design language to life, creating standards and guidelines to ensure consistency.
Your application documents should include a cover letter, a resume in table format, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript, copies of any academic degrees obtained, and, if available, references from previous employers (including internships). Please also outline your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs/programming languages.
