Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive component library to maintain uniformity across applications

• Produce clear and concise documentation for utilizing various components and variables

• Oversee the library to ensure it remains current and version-controlled

• Design responsive components with variants and booleans for reuse by Designers

• Collaborate closely with our Figma team, both in-person and remotely

Qualifications


• Currently pursuing a relevant degree (Graphic Design, UX/UI Design, etc.)

• Able to consistently contribute 10-20 hours per week to our team, both onsite and remotely

• Possess a reliable internet connection for remote work

• Have a thorough understanding of Figma

• Demonstrate experience in creating component libraries

• Exhibit knowledge of design system principles and the ability to create and implement a scalable and reusable design system

• Detail-oriented and organized in your work approach

• Familiar with fundamental design principles such as color theory, typography, and layout

• Capable of designing user-centric elements that enhance intuitive experiences

• Basic knowledge of coding (e.g., CSS, HTML, and JavaScript is advantageous)

• Understand how to manage and update component versions

• Language proficiency: Fluent in English and German

The SAP Design System Team is dedicated to advancing the SAP design system, design language, and best practices to elevate overall design quality and development speed. We establish the foundational elements that make SAP Products distinctive. We create the Design Systems that bring our language to life and set standards to ensure consistency.

Your application documents should include a cover letter, a resume in table format, school leaving certificates, proof of enrollment, current university transcript, copies of any academic degrees obtained, and references from previous employers (including internships) if available. Please also detail your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs/programming languages.
