Integrated Logistics Support and Configuration Management Engineer

YOUR ROLE:

  • Serve as the primary ILS/CM liaison for the GSOp ILS and CADM team.
  • Facilitate and assist in Configuration Control Boards, adhering to GSOp CCB guidelines and standardized methodologies.
  • Coordinate with the originators of configuration change requests to ensure proper qualification for CCBs.
  • Record CCB outcomes in centralized systems, generate meeting minutes, and update configuration data in the central CM tool.
  • Collaborate with local Maintenance Teams on ILS/CM integration.
  • Engage with local HE regarding PHS&T responsibilities.
  • Assist in configuration audits and inspections to verify the accuracy of maintained configuration status.
  • Update and manage CM/Asset status information in central systems and provide ILS/CM insights for inquiries and reports.
  • Participate in GSOp internal meetings and support ILS/CM reporting tasks with locally gathered inputs.
  • Engage in GSOp external ILS/CM meetings to coordinate with external stakeholders on ILS and Configuration Management matters.
  • Contribute to ILS/CM engineering and analytical tasks within the continuous improvement framework and event-driven changes.
  • Review data packs from infrastructure providers related to new releases and evolutions.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Possess a degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Informatics, or Aerospace Engineering, complemented by several years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrate a solid technical foundation in Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) and/or Configuration Management (CM) disciplines.
  • Ideally, have experience with the Galileo program.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities and thrive in intercultural and geographically diverse work environments.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and a strong commitment to teamwork.
  • Maintain a hands-on approach with a systematic, self-organized, and prioritized work style.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential, with knowledge of Italian and/or German being advantageous.
  • Proficient in standard office automation tools (MS Office, Email, Internet, etc.).
