YOUR ROLE:

  • Serve as the primary ILS/CM Point of Contact for the GSOp ILS and CADM organization.
  • Facilitate and support Configuration Control Boards in accordance with GSOp CCB Terms of Reference and standardized processes.
  • Coordinate with the originators of configuration change requests to ensure proper qualification for CCBs.
  • Document CCB outcomes in central tools, provide minutes of meetings, and update configuration data in the central CM tool.
  • Collaborate with local Maintenance Teams regarding ILS/CM interfaces.
  • Engage with local HE on PHS&T tasks.
  • Assist in configuration audits and inspections to verify the accuracy of maintained configuration status.
  • Maintain and update CM/Asset status information in central tools, providing ILS/CM inputs for inquiries and reports.
  • Participate in GSOp internal meetings, contributing to ILS/CM reporting tasks with locally gathered inputs.
  • Engage in GSOp external ILS/CM meetings to coordinate with external parties on ILS and Configuration Management matters.
  • Contribute to ILS/CM engineering and analysis tasks as part of continuous improvement initiatives and event-driven evolutions.
  • Review data packs from infrastructure providers in the context of new releases and evolutions.

Be a Forward Thinker

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Possess a degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Informatics, or Aerospace Engineering, along with several years of relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrate a solid technical background in Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) and/or Configuration Management (CM) disciplines.
  • Ideally, have experience with the Galileo program.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work in an intercultural and geographically distributed environment.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong inclination towards teamwork.
  • Exhibit a hands-on mentality, with a systematic, self-organized approach and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required, with knowledge of Italian and/or German being advantageous.
  • Proficient in standard office automation tools (MS Office, Email, Internet, etc.).
