Integrated Logistics Support Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary ILS/CM contact for the GSOp ILS and CADM team.
- Facilitate and assist in Configuration Control Boards in accordance with GSOp CCB guidelines and standardized methodologies.
- Coordinate with the originators of configuration change requests to assess their suitability for CCB meetings.
- Record CCB outcomes in centralized systems, generate meeting minutes, and update configuration information in the central CM tool.
- Collaborate with local Maintenance Teams regarding ILS/CM interactions.
- Engage with local HE on PHS&T responsibilities.
- Assist in configuration audits and inspections to ensure the accuracy of maintained configuration statuses.
- Update and manage CM/Asset status data in central tools, providing ILS/CM insights for inquiries and reports.
- Participate in GSOp internal meetings, contributing to ILS/CM reporting tasks with locally gathered inputs and data from central tools.
- Engage in GSOp external ILS/CM meetings to align with external stakeholders on ILS and Configuration Management matters.
- Contribute to ILS/CM engineering and analytical tasks as part of ongoing improvement initiatives and responsive changes.
- Review data packages from infrastructure providers in the context of new releases and updates.
Qualifications:
- Possess a degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Informatics, or Aerospace Engineering, complemented by relevant professional experience.
- Demonstrate a solid technical foundation in Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) and/or Configuration Management (CM) practices.
- Experience with the Galileo program is advantageous.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving capabilities and thrive in diverse, geographically dispersed teams.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong emphasis on teamwork.
- Adopt a hands-on approach with a systematic, self-organized, and prioritization-focused work style.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required; knowledge of Italian and/or German is a plus.
- Proficient in standard office software tools (MS Office, Email, Internet, etc.).
