Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated professional to take on the role of ILS and CADM Engineer. In this position, you will be pivotal in ensuring the effective management of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Configuration Management (CM) processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary ILS/CM contact for the GSOp ILS and CADM organization.
- Facilitate and support Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) in accordance with GSOp's established processes and tools.
- Coordinate with the originators of configuration change requests to assess their qualification for CCBs.
- Document CCB outcomes in centralized tools, produce meeting minutes, and update configuration data accordingly.
- Assist local Maintenance Teams in navigating the ILS/CM interface.
- Engage with local HE on PHS&T tasks.
- Support configuration audits and inspections to verify the accuracy of maintained configuration status.
- Maintain and update CM/Asset status information in central systems and provide ILS/CM insights for inquiries and reports.
- Participate in GSOp internal meetings and contribute to ILS/CM reporting tasks using data collected locally and from central tools.
- Engage in GSOp external ILS/CM meetings to align with external stakeholders on ILS and Configuration Management matters.
- Contribute to ILS/CM engineering and analytical tasks as part of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Review data packs from infrastructure providers in the context of new releases and evolutions.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Informatics, or Aerospace Engineering, complemented by relevant work experience.
- A solid technical foundation in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and/or Configuration Management (CM) disciplines.
- Experience with the Galileo program is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to work in diverse and geographically distributed environments.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong emphasis on teamwork.
- A proactive and organized approach to work, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Fluency in written and spoken English; knowledge of Italian and/or German is advantageous.
- Proficiency in standard office automation tools (MS Office, Email, Internet, etc.).
