About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Regional Director of Sales to join our team at edyn. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue across our portfolio of properties in Northern Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategy: Define and lead the regional sales strategy to deliver budgeted B2B room nights and revenue.
  • Lead a High-Performing Sales Team: Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing regional sales team to deliver revenue growth in line with targets.
  • Account Growth and New Business: Take responsibility for defining account growth and new business targets and coaching your team to develop plans to deliver revenue in line with these targets.
  • Commercial Acumen: Develop and maintain individual Sales and Marketing Plans for each property outlining the activity to deliver the budgeted business mix in terms of Length of Stay, local vs global accounts, and proportion of volume through each channel and segment.
  • Business Development: Play a lead role in shaping the future of our business customer products; work with the Distribution, IT, and Digital teams to optimise and develop our platforms to win new customers, and improve the customer journey to increase customer retention, conversion to spend, and booking frequency.
  • Sales Performance: Guide your team to sell our proposition effectively and negotiate commercial agreements to ensure customers adopt edyn as a preferred supplier via transient programmes, RFPs, and Group and M&E business at property level.
Requirements
  • Significant B2B Sales Experience: Significant B2B sales experience with a strong track record of delivering sales growth through strategic account development in the hospitality industry is highly desirable.
  • Leadership and Management: Experience of leading and managing teams and driving sales performance in a fast-moving, challenging, and multi-channel environment.
  • Results-Driven: A high-performing, results-driven individual who is passionate about delivering commercial targets.
  • Commercial Acumen: Demonstrable experience of successfully developing and implementing a B2B sales strategy across an organisation.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Successful track record of working in collaboration with and as part of senior leadership teams with excellent communications and relationship-building skills.
  • Operationalisation: Able to operationalise strategic plans into tangible, sustainable results.
  • Attention to Detail: Detail-focused and analytical, strong organisational and prioritisation skills, commercially aware, numerate with the ability to identify opportunities.
  • Matrix Organisation: Comfortable operating in a matrix organisation and delivering through others as part of a shared vision.
