About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supplier Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Intersnack Procurement. As a key member of our Supplier Quality department, you will be responsible for ensuring that all flexible packaging materials meet the highest quality and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all flexible packaging materials from a quality, food safety, and technical perspective, ensuring compliance with legal, customer, and company requirements.
  • Approve and manage suppliers in the flexible packaging categories, ensuring that all packaging materials meet the required standards.
  • Lead and execute the Supplier Audit scheme, ensuring that all packaging supplier audits are completed on time and non-conformances are addressed.
  • Manage supplier non-conformities, perform trend analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent future issues.
  • Contribute to the development of the Packaging material Categories' sourcing strategy, ensuring that food safety and supply chain integrity are maintained.
  • Support Intersnack factories during certification audits, such as AIB, BRC, and IFS.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Packaging Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Food Science, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Supplier Quality Assurance, Quality Management, Vendor Assurance, packaging technologist/expert, or a similar role in the packaging industry.
  • Work experience within flexible packaging materials is advantageous.
  • Preferably qualified lead auditor or proven experience in quality auditing, with attention to detail.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel internationally, mainly within Europe.
  • Attention to detail, organization skills, action orientation, drive for results.
  • Experience in multicultural, cross-functional organizations.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity.
  • Valid driving license.
