Role Overview:
The selected candidate will engage with a strategic portfolio of clients to foster business growth, secure design victories, and deliver top-tier technical assistance for customer initiatives within the European sector.
- Propel design victories with targeted automotive clients across the EMEA region.
- Facilitate both pre-sales and post-sales activities throughout Europe.
- Act as a trusted consultant for clients regarding feasibility, specifications, and implementation strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing and factory specialists to craft technical responses to customer inquiries and requests for information/quotes.
- Set up, maintain, and showcase demonstrations on regional vehicles and at trade exhibitions.
- Provide installation and training for clients on development systems, software development kits, and tools.
- Prepare reference designs and development systems for clients, reviewing customer-facing documentation and releases.
- Serve as a technical liaison between clients and the factory/Taiwan Systems team.
- Analyze customer technical challenges and outline next-generation features for future Ambarella SoCs and cameras.
- Support regular internal updates on key customer activities, identifying challenges, success metrics, decision-makers, timelines, and critical sourcing factors.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
- Over 7 years of experience in customer-facing roles related to embedded SoC semiconductor solutions, encompassing significant systems, tools, and software components.
- Proven experience with automotive clients and a successful track record of product launches.
- Familiarity with automotive ADAS equipment, particularly in video and image processing, as well as radar and other environmental sensing technologies such as LiDAR and ultrasonic systems.
- A demonstrated ability to navigate large, complex client organizations to connect with key executive and engineering decision-makers.
- Excellent communication skills with well-established relationships in the customer base.
- Capacity to thrive in an entrepreneurial setting and work collaboratively as part of a global go-to-market team.
