Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced accounting professional to join our team as a Senior R2R General Ledger Accounting Expert. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements, providing accounting and process advice, and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and German GAAP (HGB)
  • Support entities and provide accounting and process advice to stakeholders
  • Proactively improve accounting processes and drive the implementation of solutions for optimizing and harmonizing processes
  • Act as the point of contact for assigned units, auditors, tax advisors, authorities, and other internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance, Accounting, Auditing, Tax, or a similar field
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in Accounting functions
  • Strong knowledge of HGB and IFRS accounting standards, and ideally (German) tax law
  • Excellent analytical skills, high level of engagement, and independent and structured approach to work
  • Comprehensive experience with SAP R/3 in the FI module
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken, and comfortable in an international environment
  • Good German language skills required
  • Excellent teamwork skills, reliable, and strong results-oriented mindset

Relocation Information

This position is located in Waiblingen, Germany. For applicants currently located outside of Germany, relocation is expected.
