Role Overview
You will oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with HGB and IFRS, ensuring timely and precise submission to the corporate group. You will serve as the primary liaison for the designated unit, auditors, tax consultants, regulatory bodies, and other internal and external stakeholders. You will provide expert guidance on financial matters, taking into account relevant accounting regulations, and generate financial analyses and reports. You will coordinate activities within the general ledger accounting domain as part of our Global Business Services, emphasizing the consolidation, standardization, and automation of accounting functions. You will actively participate in the development and execution of strategic initiatives aimed at optimizing and standardizing financial accounting processes. You will assist the organization in navigating corporate and system-related changes and their implications for accounting.Required Qualifications
A degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, Accounting, Auditing, or a related field, complemented by extensive relevant professional experience. Strong understanding of HGB and IFRS accounting standards, with a preference for knowledge of tax legislation. Significant experience with SAP R/3 in the FI module; additional experience in process automation is advantageous. Exceptional analytical abilities, a proactive mindset, and a methodical approach to work. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, with comfort in an international setting. A strong team player, demonstrating reliability and a focus on results.
