Job DescriptionWe're seeking a skilled Category Manager to join our team and unlock the full potential of Picnic in Germany. As a Category Manager, you'll play a central role in shaping and optimizing our assortment portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a well-balanced product range using a data-first approach and collaborating with Senior Category Managers to identify opportunities for your category.
- Make informed trade-offs for topics like pricing, promotions, and availability in your product portfolio.
- Work closely with supply chain, customer service, and marketing teams to ensure best category performance.
- Create and execute a pragmatic plan to unlock the full potential of your category.
- Collaborate with the category team to bring the best to our customers.
- Bachelor or Master degree in an analytical, business, retail, or equivalent field.
- 2-5 years of working experience in category management and buying, preferably in the fresh food industry.
- Fluent communication in both German and English.
- Strong analytical thinking and commercial awareness.
