Job SummaryWe're seeking a skilled Category Manager to join our team and play a central role in shaping and optimizing our assortment portfolio. As a Category Manager, you'll drive the development of a well-balanced product range, leveraging data and customer insights to make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a data-driven approach to identify opportunities for category growth and optimization
- Collaborate with Senior Category Managers to make strategic decisions on pricing, promotions, and availability
- Work closely with supply chain, customer service, and marketing teams to ensure category performance
- Create and execute a pragmatic plan to unlock the full potential of your category
- Contribute to the development of a strong and diverse product portfolio that meets customer needs
- Bachelor or Master degree in an analytical, business, retail, or equivalent field
- 2-5 years of experience in category management and buying, preferably in the fresh food industry
- Fluent communication in German and English
- Strong analytical thinking and commercial awareness
