About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Category Strategy Manager to join our team in Düsseldorf. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving category growth and identifying profitable growth potentials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify market opportunities and growth potential for L'Oréal in key categories, with a strong focus on RX acceleration.
  • Develop and implement strategic priorities respecting the full patient and consumer journey, leading or supporting cross-functional project teams.
  • Support the L'Oréal leadership team in preparing key strategic meetings, including GM visits, Zone, and Multi-Div meetings.
  • Expand and develop market, category, consumer, and competitor insights, with a focus on consumer and category insights studies.
  • Analyze, share, and transfer relevant insights into tactics and strategies, working closely with L'Oréal teams (brands, commercial, digital, and education).
  • Upskill the L'Oréal community on market and consumer insights, supporting critical brand and sales meetings with relevant consumer, category, and industry insights.
  • Own the market projection process, collaborating with the Corporate CMI Team and counterparts within other divisions.
  • Drive category growth and identify profitable growth potentials with the Revenue Growth Manager.
  • Represent the division's perspective and interests in cross-divisional and international contexts.
Your Profile

We are looking for a candidate with a successfully completed university degree and at least years of experience in sales, marketing, category management, or business development, ideally in the cosmetics or pharmaceutical environment.

Key skills include strong analytical thinking, affinity for numbers, ability to develop and implement fact-based strategies, and skill to navigate between top-line strategy and operational data/insight.

Fluency in English is required, and a strong team player with assertiveness, enthusiasm, creativity, and inspiration is essential.
