At Picnic, we're revolutionizing the grocery shopping experience with our innovative and sustainable concept. As a Senior Category Manager, you'll play a key role in shaping and optimizing our fresh food assortment portfolio.
Using a data-first approach, you'll identify opportunities for growth and make informed decisions to drive category performance. Your expertise in category management and buying will be essential in working with our supply chain, customer service, and marketing teams to achieve best-in-class results.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing a pragmatic plan to unlock the full potential of your category
- Collaborating with the category team to bring the best products to our customers
- Working with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure efficient and effective product delivery
- Analyzing data and market trends to inform category decisions
Requirements for this role include:
- Bachelor or Master degree in an analytical, business, or retail-related field
- 5+ years of experience in category management and buying in the grocery or food industry
- Fluent communication in German and English
- Strong analytical thinking and commercial awareness
