About the Role

As a Strategic Account Manager at Amazon Deutschland Services GmbH, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and satisfaction of our sellers. Your primary responsibility will be to manage a portfolio of strategic and complex sellers, developing individual strategies, setting timelines for implementation, and serving as the central point of contact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management: Manage a portfolio of strategic and complex sellers, developing individual strategies, setting timelines for implementation, and serving as the central point of contact.
  • Business Analysis: Conduct thorough business analyses to provide informed recommendations for your sellers' businesses, leveraging a range of analytical tools to interpret customer data.
  • Consulting: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of Amazon to help your sellers navigate the platform, identifying opportunities and potential challenges.
  • Implementation Support: Serve as a trusted advisor to your sellers, providing guidance on implementing strategic plans, answering ad-hoc questions, and helping to overcome specific challenges.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with your sellers by working closely with them, delivering results, and leveraging trust to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Coaching: Take the time to educate your sellers on Amazon's solutions and updates, enhancing their knowledge of selling on Amazon.
  • Business Reviews: Prepare detailed analyses of your sellers' performance and present them to facilitate open communication about business progress, current challenges, and strategic planning.
  • Expertise: Take ownership of a specific area within our service organization, aiming to support colleagues and develop processes/tools that benefit both internal and external stakeholders.
About the Team

We aim to accelerate long-term growth and improve Seller Experience (SX) and Customer Experience (CX) by offering sellers the option to work with a dedicated account manager to receive tailored strategies and problem-solving support. We work closely with sellers to drive innovation.

Requirements
  • Language Skills: Fluent German and English skills.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience: Experience in areas such as Tier-Level Consulting, Key Account Management, Sales in the Advertising Sector, B2B, Digital Retail/E-Commerce, Business Development, Digital Marketing, Brand Management, Supply Chain Management, or similar.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills that enable the interpretation of complex data sets using Microsoft Excel.
  • Strategic Development: In-depth knowledge of strategy development and implementation, with proven ability to win, manage, and interact with customers, particularly at the leadership level.
  • Adaptability: Ability to multitask and adapt priorities in a fast-paced environment, with excellent presentation skills to inform and influence stakeholders at all levels, particularly at the leadership level.
  • Customer Passion: Passion for developing an engaging customer experience and the ability to translate customer needs into business and product requirements.
